Welcome to Interviews & Jobs - A career guidance portal for you and your interviewers
From our Ask the Expert mailbox
Hi Interviews and Jobs, I attended an interview and have not got any response. Should I call them and ask about it or wait for them to get back to me
Thanks for writing to us. You are just in a situation that many others have gone through. Typically it is important for the organization to update you about the status but they dont pay attention to those who were not a good match - which is bad. For you, we advice you handle this a little patient.
For instance, if they were about to call you and you called them up, they could understand you are desperate and offer you lesser than what they thought they would. Do you want it to happen?

It frustrates the candidate and defocuses them from the mission they have to themselves. Some funny interviewers have asked me to answer the question they asked while they were talking to someone on phone. No, I am not an alien – it happened here on Earth. Read more...
Book promotion
What? A book for testers about interviews and jobs? But do they read books? Well, most of them read books only during an interview but then is career all about interviews? There is something beyond it. This book will be in stores by the end of Q1 2010. Watch out for it.
An upcoming book by Pradeep Soundararajan
